Yes, we provide a 10 day return policy if unopened. Unfortunately we can not take back cosmetics that have been used or with the seal broken. This is for our customes safety and we ask you to always contact us if you have any doubts about the color before you break the seal. Please purchase samples when trying out new colors first :)

Is the makeup safe for all skin types?

Yes. Its great for sensitive skin and provides sun protective ingredients making it especially appropriate for allergy-prone, blemished or healing skin.
If you have sensitive skin and have had bad experiences with cosmetics in the past, then natural mineral make-up is for you. The most irritating ingredients in cosmetics are talc, dye and perfumes, our products are free of all of these. The likelihood of a reaction is rare.

Is it necessary to wear additional sunscreens when using the BabyFaceMinerals?

Our minerals provide a natural sunscreen but you may if you wish.
You can't wear too much protection in the sun. If needed, ust add more light layers to increase protection.

How do I choose a Foundation Color?

The best way to test for the right color is to do it on the jawline in daylight. The color should disappear if it blends perfectly with the skin.
Choose 3 shade samples that look best in Cool, Warm or Neutral. If you are not sure, try the Neutrals first. Don't forget to add a BRONZER for added Natural Color and VEIL for Oily Skin. You may never waste minerals as you can custom mix your own shades and use them anywhere on your face. You may even brush on the body for an air brushed, tan or more sculptured look. The uses are endless!

How soon can the makeup be applied after laser, microdermabrasion or peels?

The minerals can be applied immediately after a microdermabrasion or a peel. They will not only cover the redness but the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are anti-inflammatories, which will help to calm the irritation. Application after laser resurfacing must depend on the "physician's permission". Many factors are involved including the laser that was used and how deeply it was used. Almost always, makeup can be applied as soon as the skin has re-epithelized.
This can be from 7 to 14 days post-op, but makeup should only be applied if the doctor has given his/her okay. Do not apply minerals over a heavy petroleum-based balm or heavy cream. Makeup will get cakey. A flocked sponge works effectively for post-laser work. If the powders appear to accentuate wrinkles or look dry because the skin is flaky from the resurfacing., spritz face with Dionized water.
One of the important things to remember is that it is essential for healing skin to be protected by the sun. Minerals provide this as well as coverage and soothing properties.

Does BabyFaceMinerals makeup work on older or aging skin?

Yes. Because this is a light-reflective cosmetic, it obscures fine lines and wrinkles and gives a healthy glow to the skin, making it look younger. On a skin with lots of lines, it is helpful to spritz with dionized
water after applying the makeup. This softens lines and gives a smoother look.

Is BabyFaceMInerals water/perspiration-proof?

Yes. If you are perspiring heavily or swimming or you've been caught in the rain, don't wipe your face with the towel - just pat it. You may remove a small amount of the makeup, but the majority will stay on the skin. Performers have found mineral make-up to be much easier than usual makeup because they don't have to keep reapplying it during performance.
The minerals can be removed with any Facial cleanser.

What moisturizer is best used with the powders?

Any good moisturizer will due. Moisturizers may need to be blotted first or just wait 5 minutes for it to be absorbed.
If you don't, the powders can grab unevenly.

We Accept Payments by PayPal and by Personal Check in the U.S. Only. Paypal does not require opening an account when paying with a credit card. We find PayPal to be the most secure form of online payment with protection for the business and consumer both. If sending us a check, as soon as we receive payment and it posts, we'll ship your order.

What if I don't see the color selections at the time of ordering samples?

Just type your color selections in the note area of the shopping cart at check out. If you missed it before sending your order through, just email us the selctions.
